Transchrono.org, the leading English source for transchrono news and discussion on the web, has decided to endorse Donald J. Trump for the position of President of the United States of America. If elected, Mr. Trump would be the first openly transchrono president in the history of the country, and perhaps the first such head of state world wide.
Late last week, Mr. Trump came out as transchrono during a taping of Dr. Oz, a popular American medical show. In the course of the show, Dr. Oz popped the big question, when he asked Trump “when you look in the mirror, what do you see?”. (Though this is typically viewed as an offensive question to ask a transchrono person, we imagine it was pre-cleared for Trump’s consent before the taping). Mr. Trump answered that he sees a 35-year-old version of himself (see video following text).
Transchrono.org was not given prior notification of Trump’s announcement.
Mr. Trump’s announcement is seen as a major breakthrough for transchrono awareness and transchrono rights throughout America and the world. Mr. Trump has unapologetically declared his self-identity and has set an example for millions of transchrono people who live with the stigma of being transchrono in an intolerant world every day. Though we explicitly do not agree with all of Trump’s rhetoric and policy, we feel that as president, Mr. Trump will be a strong supporter of our community and continue to bring awareness to the issues that concern us. We call on our community, and allies, to please vote for Donald J. Trump this November 8th.
